General FAQs
1. What is the Shelters and Rescues Network?
Chewy’s Shelters and Rescues Network was founded in 2012 to provide support for shelters, rescues, and other qualified animal-centric non-profit organizations across the United States. There is absolutely no cost or no commitment to join our network.
By participating in the network, your organization is eligible to create a custom Wish List on Chewy.com to share with supporters for donations, promote your adoptable pets to our customers considering adoption, and earn referral commissions for every new customer who places their first order on Chewy.
2. Who is eligible to be part of the Shelters and Rescues Network?
All qualified animal welfare non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations are eligible. While Chewy is open to partnering with almost all animal welfare organizations, we do reserve the right to refuse any organization that does not meet our requirements.

To become a member of the Shelters and Rescues Network, you will need to agree to the following Shelter and Rescues Network Program Terms.

Shelter Signup FAQs
1. What should I do if my organization is a part of Petty Pets Shelters and Rescues Network and this was not authorized by me?
Please email support@evreting.com for assistance.
2. Why am I getting an error that our EIN or phone number is in use when I attempt to apply?
Your EIN or phone number was provided to us on an existing application. These two unique identifiers block multiple applicants from having the same information. If you’re not aware that your group has already enrolled, please contact support@evreting.com.
Donations FAQs
1. Do you provide in-kind donations?
In addition to the referral contributions, we’ve partnered with Greater Good Charities to provide partners with donations when needed. To register as a recipient of these donations please apply through greatergood.org/goods.
2. Do you provide monetary sponsorships for events?
At this time, we are unable to provide monetary support outside of what we do within our referral program.
3. Do you offer special discounts or pricing for non-profit organizations?
Although at this time we are unable to offer any general discounts or pricing, we do try to keep our prices competitive and have free shipping on all orders over $49.00. The Autoship feature is a great way to set up items on a recurring shipment and there are certain brands that qualify for an additional 5% discount when added to an Autoship.
4. Can my shelter, rescue, or non-profit organization receive tax exemption for purchases made at Petty Pets?
If your organization qualifies for sales tax exemption in the state it resides please contact support@evreting.com to find out what documentation needs to be provided for us to update your organization’s account.
5. How does an organization get featured in the Petty Pets Cart?
The Network Partners featured are randomly selected. At this time, a specific partner cannot be chosen.
6. Does my organization have to be enrolled in the Shelters and Rescues Network to be featured in the Petty Pets Cart?
Yes. Only approved partners in our Shelters and Rescues Network will be featured. If you’re not sure if your organization is enrolled, feel free to use our Donate to a Rescue search or email support@evreting.com.
7. Can we receive monetary funds directly from the donor vs. a Petty Pets eGift Card?
At this time, Petty Pets is unable to facilitate direct monetary donations from your supporters.
8. How do I opt-in to add donated eGift Cards to my Gift Card Balance?
To opt-in to have your eGift Cards added to your Petty Pets Account automatically, navigate to your Shelter Account and edit the eGift Card from the Wish List tab. You’ll still receive an email notification that an eGift Card has been donated. The funds will be automatically added to your Gift Card Balance.
9. Can I transfer my Gift Card Balance to another account?
No. Once a Petty Pets eGift Card has been added to your account, it cannot be transferred to another account.
10. How do I see how many eGift Cards have been donated to my organization?
To view all of the eGift Cards donated, visit the Donations tab of your Shelter Account. You can filter donations further to show only eGift Cards.

11. I received an eGift Card via email, but I accidentally deleted it? What do I do?
Confirm the Donation Order Number of the eGift Card from the Donations Tab of your Shelter Account. Once you have the Donation Order Number, please contact us 24/7 at 561-922-9253 or support@evreting.com and we’ll be happy to help.
12. How can I check my Gift Card Balance?
To check the balance of the eGift Cards added to your Petty Pets Account, please navigate to your Account Dashboard and select the Gift Cards tab. You’ll see the current available funds, along with a breakdown of any eGift Cards used and their subsequent orders.
